A fost admis bursier postdoctoral la Institutul de Chimie al Academiei Chineze de \u0218tiin\u021be \u00een 1993, a finalizat cercetarea postdoctoral\u0103 \u00een 1995 \u0219i a fost promovat ca profesor asociat la Institutul de Chimie al Academiei Chineze de \u0218tiin\u021be. \u00cencep\u00e2nd din ianuarie 1996 \u0219i-a continuat studiile postdoctorale la Departamentul de Chimie Organic\u0103 al Universit\u0103\u021bii de Tehnologie Chalmers din Suedia iar \u00een octombrie 1996 a fost invitat, din Suedia, la Universitatea Clemson din SUA unde a continuat cercet\u0103rile postdoctorale p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 1998. \u00cen iunie 1998, a fost selectat pentru o burs\u0103 postdoctoral\u0103 oferit\u0103 de Funda\u021bia Robert A. Welch \u00een cadrul Departamentului de Chimie al Universit\u0103\u021bii Rice din SUA unde \u0219i-a desf\u0103\u0219urat activitatea din iunie 1998 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een mai 2000. \u00cen luna mai 2000 a revenit la Beijing \u0219i a fost numit profesor la Institutul Tehnic de Fizic\u0103 \u0219i Chimie unde prin Programul \u201eO sut\u0103 de talente\u201d al Academiei Chineze de \u0218tiin\u021be a fost premiat de c\u0103tre aceast\u0103 prestigioas\u0103 institu\u021bie. \u00cen anul 1994, Profesorul Wang a primit Premiul Special al Institutului de Tehnologie din Beijing – Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) – pentru sinteza unor molecule complexe din materiale noi. \u00cen anul 2004, a primit Premiul de Excelen\u021b\u0103 al Societ\u0103\u021bii Chineze de Chimie pentru rezultatele ob\u021binute \u00een activitatea de cercetare.\r\n\u00cen anul 2013, i-a fost decernat Premiul pentru \u0218tiin\u021b\u0103 \u0219i Tehnologie al ora\u0219ului Beijing pentru sinteza unui nou model NADH cu \u0219ase centre chirale \u0219i sinteza Nebivololului printr-o abordare inovatoare. Profesorul Wang a publicat 169 de lucr\u0103ri, \u00eenregistr\u00e2nd un num\u0103r total de 1989 de cit\u0103ri dintre care 339 pentru o singur\u0103 lucrare (Wang: Eur. J. Org. Chem. 2017, 5821). Aceste cercet\u0103ri au constituit etape importante \u00een procesul de ob\u021binere al medicamentului Nebivolol.\r\nSinteza unor deriva\u021bi diterpenici de tip cembranoid care pot fi folosi\u021bi \u00een procesul de produc\u021bie al medicamentelor utilizate \u00een tratamentul cancerului. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE<\/p>\r\n
Professor PhD Nai – Xing Wang: 23.05.1956, Qishan, Shaanxi, China. He obtained his master's degree from the Xian Research Institute of Modern Chemistry in 1990 and his PhD from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1993. He was appointed a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993, and completed his postdoctoral research in 1995 and was promoted to associate professor at the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.\r\nStarting from January 1996 he continued his postdoctoral studies at the Department of Organic Chemistry of Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and in October 1996 he was invited, from Sweden, to Clemson University USA where he continued his postdoctoral research until 1998. In June 1998, was selected for a postdoctoral fellowship offered by the Robert A. Welch Foundation in the Chemistry Department of Rice University in the USA where he worked from June 1998 to May 2000. In May 2000 he returned to Beijing and was appointed professor at the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry where through the "One Hundred Talents" Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences he was awarded by this prestigious institution. In 1994, Professor Wang received the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) Special Prize for the synthesis of complex molecules from new materials. In 2004, he received the Excellence Award of the Chinese Chemical Society for the results obtained in the research activity. In 2013, he was awarded the Beijing City Science and Technology Prize for the synthesis of a new NADH model with six chiral centers and the synthesis of Nebivolol through an innovative approach. Professor Wang has published 169 papers, recording a total of 1989 citations of which 339 are for a single paper (Wang:\u00a0Eur. J.\r\nOrg. Chem. 2017, 5821). Professor Wang has published 4 monographs in Chinese and contributed to 2 monographs in English. He registered a number of at least 9 patents with asymmetric synthesis as his main subject.\r\nThe scientific research activity was oriented on the following directions:\r\nChiral chemistry technology: completed the total synthesis of one complicated biologically and pharmacologically active molecule (Nebivolol) with four chiral centers by developing natural-chirality- origin asymmetric synthesis; the synthesis of a new compound, the model with six centers of chirality, NADH \u2013 Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide also known as Coenzyme-1, a particularly important enzyme in energy production at the cellular level; synthesis of the chiral antihypertensive drug S-acetinolol; development of the cyclic chirality process completed with obtaining cyclic chiral products with particularly high yield and selectivity. Synthesis of some flavonoid compounds constituting chiral intermediates for drugs, the obtaining of which requires the stereocontrol of the cyclic chirality process of chiral catalysis. These researches were important stages in the process of obtaining the drug Nebivolol.\r\nSynthesis of cembranoid diterpenic derivatives that can be used in the production process of drugs used in the treatment of cancer. The research idea started from the discovery in the East China Sea of the natural product Lobophytum crassum and was completed by obtaining in the laboratory, through synthesis, a product with similar properties; the synthesis of furoxanic compounds consisting of a series of benzofuroxan molecules; synthesis of a series of stable enols by avoiding complicated purification and separation processes.\r\nNew methodologies applied in the synthesis of organic compounds (new reactions and reagents): discovery of a new oxidation system for the environmentally friendly selective conversion of primary aromatic alcohols to aldehydes; identification of new methiolation reactions used in organic synthesis; selection of rare metals (earths) used as catalysts for direct coupling reactions of azarenes and ethers; obtaining a new reagent for organic synthesis (Dimethylsulfoxide\/Tosyl Chloride – DMSO-TsCl); discovery of a new aldehyde to modify the amidation reaction.\r\nWang reaction (radical defunctionalization reaction of styrene derivatives): coupling reaction of vinylarenes with aliphatic alcohols; the oxidative co-catalysis coupling reaction of vinylarenes with ketones; studies of the mechanisms associated with the coupling reaction of vinylarenes with alkylonitriles; the oxidative coupling reaction of styrenes and ethers by functionalizing the inactive C(sp3)-H bond; the WANG reaction (transformation of styrene derivatives \u2013 published in Synlett 2021, 32, 23).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
