Din 1969, a efectuat stagiul la \u00centreprinderea de Construc\u021bii Speciale Industriale \u0219i Montaje (ICSIM) Bucure\u0219ti. \u00cencep\u00e2nd cu anul 1972, prin derogare de stagiu, a fost promovat \u00een func\u021bia de \u0218ef de atelier repara\u021bii. Cariera universitar\u0103 a \u00eenceput-o \u00een 1973, ca asistent universitar titular la Institutul de Construc\u0163ii din Bucure\u015fti. Trec\u00e2nd prin toate treptele academice, devine \u00een 1992 profesor universitar. \u00cen anul 1984 a ob\u021binut titlul \u0219tiin\u021bific de doctor inginer \u00een specialitatea &#8222;Ma\u015fini de construc\u0163ii&#8221;, la Institutul de Construc\u0163ii Bucure\u015fti (ICB), cu teza: &#8222;Studiul optimiz\u0103rii parametrilor tehnologici ai rulourilor compactoare-vibratoare \u00een concordan\u021b\u0103 cu caracteristicile mecanice \u015fi fizice ale p\u0103m\u00e2nturilor&#8221;. \u00cen perioada 1990-2008, a ocupat func\u0163iile de \u015eef de catedr\u0103 la Catedra Ma\u015fini de construc\u0163ii, membru \u00een Senatul universit\u0103\u0163ii \u015fi \u00een Consiliul Profesoral al facult\u0103\u0163ii. \u00cen calitatea de Director de studiu, a coordonat trei cursuri postuniversitare. Din anul 2005 este conduc\u0103tor de doctorat \u00een domeniul &#8222;Mecanic&#8221; specialitatea &#8222;Ma\u015fini de construc\u0163ii&#8221;. A fost membru \u00een numeroase comisii, consilii \u0219i asocia\u021bii profesionale. A prezentat dou\u0103 prelegeri, \u00een calitate de profesor invitat la Universitatea \u201cHaute Ecole de la Province de Li\u00e8ge &#8211; Rennequin Sualem\u201d.
